The Doctor removed the bandage from Nancy's eye this morning. He was a little worried about her outcome because of some complications that happend in

Nancy kept her eye closed for a very long 10 seconds or so before opening it up and looking at me. She started to cry when our eyes met and I knew she could see me! They tested her out and all the things they were concerned about were just flat not there! All the thoughts and prayers from this forum were not wasted, she can see out of that eye again!!!! The doctor was smiling like crazy and was amazed at how well she was doing. The vision in that eye went from 20-2100 to 20-40, and that was when she first opened her eye up and only 24 hours after surgery. Doctor said that her vision will keep on improving over the next two weeks as everything heals up. She has to put 6 diferent drops in her eye every day at all kinds of different time to make sure it all heals up, but again I must say "SHE CAN SEE" . I know she is feeling better as well as seeing better. When I brought her home she looked at the kitchen floor and told me I had not been doing a very good job of keeping it clean. I may also need to shave and get a hair cut now.
I want to thank you all for your support as we went through this. You are all a great bunch of folks and I do NOT lie. Thanks again, David and Nancy
