I talked it over with my wife all the possible scenarios if I lost my job,and she says"Trust in the LORD-HE will make everything OK"....When I got to work today;my foreman told me he had to see me ...I asked him if it involved a layoff-He looked at me strangely, and said NOPE!!-He then told me the job I am doing on 2nd shift is getting done on 1st starting Monday, and the whole crew on 2nd (6 of us) will have to go to other jobs-Im highest seniority on 2nd,so I got the 1st choice....My foreman showed me my options-Jobs,and paygrades-Some the same, some less-THEN I seen a job opening listed on the SAME SHIFT(2nd);SAME PAY GRADE!!!
A job Ive never done before, but can learn soon....SO;I told him SIGN ME UP!!! on that one!!
I could have gone back to 3rd as machine set-up(PAY RAISE!!!);but that's the job I had before my return to 2nd,and crawling in/out of machines for 8 hours left me feeling like I got run over by a truck, and lived to whine about it

..SO:AS USUAL,the wife is right-HE DOES PROVIDE WHAT WE NEED!!!BY THE WAY:MY wife had her Dr's App't today,shes doin
after her surgery-he gave her another 3 weeks off work-AND she was only TOO HAPPY
to call her workplace and tell them-Got in her car,and OFF she went to her parents!!NOW IM A BATCHELOR AGAIN,and have to eat my own cooking:sad:BUT she DID make a BIG batch of homemade NO-BAKE COOKIES for me while shes gone-YUMMY!!!
