There will most likely be dealer discounts so check with your dealer or one of the dealers on this forum.

Thanks to you, Uncle Willy, and John-Edmondton for your testing and answering all the question related to the new pinpointer. I will be looking to get one soon.

Sounds like it is priced to compete with the Vibraprobe 460. Bummer. I just bought one a few months back.

Yeah I'm not familiar with the prices of the others except the Sun Ray and it's cheaper than that one. It's a danged good pinpointer and as handy as it gets.

i just wish the end was pointed so i could pierce soft ground directly instead of using a probe or digger to open the ground, i use the tinytec in this fashion but the tip wears after a years use.

Yeah I had hoped they would put a sifter/scraper blade on the tip, the most logical place, but it didn't happen.

Thanks to both of you for the reviews. I have a Treasure Mate, but I think I will give it to the wife and go with the Garrett. :)

I don't always agree with you, but I love the fact that you say your mind. I have read your posts on different forums and enjoy your honesty. If someone gives you a product to test, they better be ready for the truth about it. It hasn't got you in trouble has it?
