I was busy changing light bulbs in the main hallway...using my own ladder from home seeing the previous boss took all the ladders for himself - except one too big for a hallway to change bulbs.
Wonder how impressed he was when he said he had some meat he needed to freeze and if he could be shown where to put it. Well. the walk in freezer is dead....the upright freezer is dead and all there was was a small freezer like used to hold 4 ice cream buckets in ice cream parlors. Had to put the meat into a bag then into this small thing.
Was told if anyone is interested in keeping their job to show up Saturday at 11:30 AM. I guess I still work for the old boss til the end of the pay period...which is tomorrow. There are still events coming up on Saturday and all this weekend. Should be interesting. The new owner is from India. Rumor has it he is a doctor who owns a medical college in some other country. My question....why a hotel that needs more money than I could see in my lifetime for repairs? Why buy a hotel in this time of economic struggles? Since they are not required to pay taxes for something like 5 years...then it isn't for an immediate tax relief. Oh well. Just waiting to see what the Lord has in store for me.
