Well gang, after reading ML posts till I'm blue in the face, I ordered an XT50 to replace my ACE 250. The wife (as usual) thinks I've totally lost it. Here's me, 76 years of age and wheelin and dealin 'tectors. Hey I ain't gonna be here for a long time, but I'm damn sure gonna have me a good time.

Congrats on the new detector, Tucker. And I do admire your dedication to the hobby. I'm 61 and feel younger now than 15-20 years ago, thanks to Metal Detecting.

My suggestion, since Minelab has not come out with a small coil yet, is to hang on to the Ace 250, using it with the 4.5" Sniper Coil for those really trashy spots. It's good to have a back up MD, anyway.... this isn't a sales plug for Garrett, BTW; it just makes sense
