As human beings, we are so immersed in sin that we often can forget just how bad it is, just how much it has affected us. It is not easy to realize how far we have fallen, because we have been down for so long.

Genesis 1:27 (New King James Version) "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them."

How does the fact that Jesus Himself is God help us understand better what it means to have been made in the image of God? How does knowing about Jesus help us understand the kind of characters our first parents had at the creation?

The Bible is clear: we were made in the image of God. It is clear, too, that Jesus is God (see John 1:1

We are all born sinners and fall short of God's glory and the image of God we were created to be through the first creations, Adam and Eve! But after the fall, we are born by the seed of Adam and; therefore, are sinners in need of a Savior! God came down in the flesh of man Whose name is Jesus and died in our place by paying sin's penalty in full for us that we might be saved! After we do believe in Jesus' virgin birth, death and resurrection, we should be a new creation in the likeness and image of Him, Who was fully God and fully man here on this earth!

If we don't love and obey, Jesus, than we aren't saved, made ready and prepared to enter Heaven's glory at death or when caught up to Him as faithful saints, dead or alive in Jesus at the day of the Rapture of God's saints! If we love Him, as He loves us, then we are to love our neighbor as ourself, although they are sinners, we must remember that sinners we also once were! Jesus said to His disciples....Love one another as I have loved you and Love God Jehovah only, for there is no other god nor man that can save the soul from perishing in the Lake of Fire when Jesus rules Heaven as His throne and the earth as His footstool forever more as the good and faithful saints of God rule and reign with Him! Amen! May God Bless and save the souls of the lost sinners by their believing and repenting of all their sins! Amen! ;angel: Ma Betty
