My brother and I hit the local swimming hole, temp 40 deg. my better than the cold we have been having, water temp very cold. We stapped on the waders and worked the river for a few hours this afternoon. We had to dodge an occasional ice chunk floating down river. My best for the day was a 1942 silver quarter and my matey pulled out a .925 silver charm. We hit for a few more coins and some junk. We will be hitting Salisbury Beach, MA the day after Christmas.
