The Safari strikes again!

Found a cellar hole in the woods and judging by the bricks dated it to the mid 1700's to the early 1800's.This is what I found today with the Minelab Safari......Holy shoebuckles!!!!!! Never even seen one of these before nevermind finding one,I mean 2,In awesome condition! The big one came as a solid''38'' and I thought for sure I had another large cent under the coil.The smaller one came up as a solid''22''.I dig any and all repeating signals,regardless what the display says and it pays off.Yes,I found a fair share of junk as well.I was stunned to say the least to find 2 of these awesome relics.Then I found the big button,very beautifull but no George Washington on it.I ended the day finding a set of tiny cuff links and a couple of more buttons.The spoons,hair pin????,and harmonica reed were found 2 weeks ago at a different location.

Nice buckles! Those are beauties. Frock buttons are cool to find as well. I primarily search for cellar holes as well, unfortunately the last 3 I've found were either picked clean or they were the poorest SOB's in that area. One of the last cellar holes I found looked like a herd of gophers were there before me.... FILL THOSE HOLES!

Thanks for the comments! Love those unspoiled cellar holes! Trust me,they are everywhere around New England,many untouched.If they were hit already,the chances they were not hit with a detector of this caliber.I was digging in a hole a couple of weeks back,holes were everywhere and I was pulling up oldies all over the place.Glad I upgraded!I always fill my holes in and if I have to shuffle rocks around,I do so with care and put them back as they were when I'm done.It doesn't look like anybody was even there.
