How Well Do We Know God's Word?
Mark 13:7-8 NKJV -
"7. But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, don not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet. 8. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be 'earthquakes' in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the 'beginning of sorrows'."
By all means, read chapter 13 of Mark and the 16th chapter of Revelation to get a better picture of things to come. Jesus speaking of "All Things Made New" in the 21st chapter of Revelation says of those who will NOT be in heaven "...But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which 'is' the second death..."
We, as professed Christians, would do well to be prepared for '...The Beginning of Sorrows...", for Haiti, as sad as it is, is but the beginning of things to come.
