got to my honey hole around 0930 hours great day to hunt in PA. I worked the fence hard today and it payed off. I hit 3 silver dime in one hole a 1944 merc and two rosies a 1949 and a 1951. Ended up finding 2 silver rings inside the fence as well. I was tired but i noticed a spot they just cleared brush away from so i checked it out. I worked this spot before but it still gave up two more silver dimes a 1936 merc and a 1952 rosie. I ended up pulling 14 wheaties 1 quarter 10 dimes 3 nickles and 51 pennies. A good day by all means but please let it rain the ground around here is like concrete thank god for my true value shovel with the sharp cutting edge.

Sounds like a great hunt to me! I sure wish we had that kind of older coinage heavily seeded in our dirt here in Texas! We do have old coins to be be found, just not as heavy as you North-easterner's What machine were you using and how was it set up?

i use a whites qxt pro set wide open. great machine for coin shooting.

Way to go! A Lesche Little Eagle or Dixie shovel will make it easy going in hard ground. Nothing else compares.
