The Surprising Truth About This Favorite Breakfast Food The Surprising Truth About This Favorite Breakfast Food

Bottom line...you never know what you are eating unless you grow it. Hence the need for us to have chickens, vegetables and such. Selling "organic" items is a huge gimmick in this country. Very profitable and playing off our apprehensions and desire to be healthier.

I have had a digestive problem for twenty years or more. My doctor has me eating out of my victory garden. I only wish I had a larger piece of property to grow more.

Victory gardens....an old War II expression...when many of them were planted in plots of ground that could be found in the cities! I think many will be going back to them with food so high and the economy so bad, but a large garden would produce either enough to preserve and/or to give away! When I had a small garden in my back yard, I gave a lot of fresh veggies away to my neighbors and etc.! I grew up eating fresh vegs and we grew lots on the farm which mom also canned to last through the winter with us kid helping with gardening and canning!  Ma Betty

From what I've read on Mercola.Com and elsewhere, the closer we get to the soil, the better off we'll be. As much as humanly possible, Americans desperately need to get back to raising gardens and growing our own food, as our forefathers did before us.

Glad to have ya.
God bless.

Mike
