The T2 SE Strikes again in the UK

Youngted

New member

In the last couple of days I have searched a field that has been hammered by detectorists over the past 30 years on and off. Yet The T2 SE set at 60 sens 20 disc and Boost pulled up several targets at least 10 WW2 rifle Ammo and these Roman items. The Brooch was first First century A.D. Dolphin type minus its pin which is often the case 45 mm long. Then later on the reduced Foll is of Constantine 1st A.D. 308 to 337 this coin later in the reign. The reverse is Sol Invicto Comiti The unconquerable Sun. Although he allowed Christian to become accepted his coins still held Pagan images on them.
This reverse is quite apt as we get close to Easter in the Pagan take on things the Son died on the constelation of the southern cross The name Easter comes from the Goddess Eastarte god of fertility so many of our Christian feast days come from Pagan origins Christmas, Harvest festival just two of them.Corn Dolly's and Easter Bunnies are pure Pagan

those are great coins you find
