The trip to FL treasure coast

I took the EX 11 along to Orlando last week. I would have had better weather in Wisconsin. Friday I finaly got to the beach along the treasure coast south of Malabar. No idea what to exspect. When we got out of the car you could feel the could air blowing out of the North and the surf crashing. Maybe it losened some stuff up I though. The pointers I read were to search at the surf line. Well that was changing by 50 to 75 feet depending on the wave and I cant run that fast for to long. The waves were coming so far up the beach it only left you about 15 to 20 feet to search before you were into the dunes and I didnt need a ticket or loss of the detector being so close to them. So I spent the time making sure the kid didnt get pulled back into the ocean by a large wave or rip tide. So I have no idea how how well it works in the surf. But the museum was cool with all the treasure stuff they found and had donated to them.
