I realize you're joking and I suppose that would work but that would make too much noise and, as detectorist, we want to keep a low profile. We must remember that each one of us represents the hobby as a whole. On a softer note, there are places along the coastline that are detectable, if you can afford the gas to get there! I traveled the area extensively, when I was younger and gas was less than a dollar a gallon.
 
That is a nice picture, light houses is my favorate decor to collect for the house, I painted a ceramic one that I have in my camper when I go camping, to bad we don't any where I live, yes it was a joke, sometime humor goes a long way to lighten the air a bit. HHH
