There must be a new way to reply to Merry Christmas...

Pete in MI

New member
yesterday I kept telling people Merry Christmas and many replied with the name of some musical group called "U-2".

What's up with that?

Yeah I like to hear people say merry CHRISTMAS and I never get tired of CHRISTMAS music. That is true christian music . Most of it is about our savior at least on the station I listen to.

Well, Bro Pete, you could say, Praise Jesus' holy name, for He was born 2000 years ago as the Lord and Savior of the world! And then see if they say, "U-2" to those words! God Bless! Betty

Good one Pete!! Last year Carol and I were paying our bill at a restaurant and the server said Happy Holidays. I asked her what holiday she was celebrating and she stopped for a moment, thinking, and then said, Christmas I guess. I said, " Oh! Merry Christmas to you too!!"

...my wife ABSOLUTELY refuses to say "HAPPY HOLIDAYS";as some would have it,to remain "politically correct";that is;to not offend anybody that doesnt believe;and could be offended by MERRY CHRISTMAS. My wife and me have this opinion:To whomever chooses not to believe, thats your right-but for us,this is the season of the BIRTH OF OUR SAVIOR;and as as such;will remain "MERRY CHRISTMAS"for us-AMEN!!!
