I cant say what I feel since it seems that posts get deleted over honest criticism. Just 3 words then. No tone Id?

Thanks for gathering that information Mike; good to have it all in one place to refer back to. I too was waiting on hearing about the ed180 or 120 discrimination but they have not been forthcoming with that information just yet. Yes Jason, I will miss the lack of tone id too:cry:

Tesoro seems to have resurected the Bandido everyone was all so pumped up about a couple weeks ago. I wonder why?

I can't wait to hear the audio an this one.

If I would be in the position of a detector manufacturer, I would have an email account just for suggestions.
That way I would be hearing what it is most people want in the way of features.
I would have asked that it be a 12.5Khz machine.

The rest is just follow through and build a nice hot machine along the lines of what the majority of users asked for.
In this way when you introduce a new machine to market you will hear comments like,.......

"This is the machine I have been waiting for!"

Instead of, "this machine is very similar to other machines in your lineup".

I am "Really" happy with the Tesoro machines I have, they are excellent finders.

Sounds like they've taken one of their most popular machines and gave it a bit of a face lift with some added features. I've actually been trying to find a good used Bandido II uMax as I think it is the best Tesoro they've ever made....and all the ones I've seen lately that sold at auction, brought nearly as much as they did back when they were new....and they've not made them for quite some time now!! All of them that I've bid on, have gone for over $300 for just the unit and no other accessories.

I'm sure that when you go to your local Tesoro dealer, that you will have the option to get it with just one coil...especially if you already own the other coils. The one I would want is the widescan coil.
