They said there was silver beneath the wheat ---

They said there was silver hidden beneath the wheat. I trusted them to know; treading lightly between the rows ---

An old church in Cokedale, CO gave up a few secrets today. After reading buddy Captain SE's report yesterday I was determined to find at least some silver. Hunting in AMM, ignoring low to midrange signals I gave it my best, listening for the whisper of deep coinage. I cranked SENSITIVITY to MAX-32 and was able to handle it. Three wheats (1918-1944-1950), one 1918 Canadian Dime, and one 1929 Rosie averaged 8 to 10 inches down. I began hunting using my SE equipped with Excelerator's 15 inch coil but quickly decided to bring out the big gun, my Excelerator 17.5. I still managed to dig some trash but not near as much as I normally do ---

COIN COUNT:
06 Lincolns
00 Nickels
04 Dimes
05 Quarters
03 Wheats
02 Silver Dimes

TOTAL 20 COINS VALUE $1.94
