Things get ugly at California gas pumps...

CYPRESS, Calif. (AP) - Violence broke out at the gas pumps in Orange County. Police say a La Palma doctor waiting in line to buy gas at the Costco warehouse store in Cypress grabbed a tire iron and confronted a motorist who cut into the line.[size=medium]
( I like the Doc's demeanor, people need to stand up and confront these inconsiderate selfish creeps. Calling the police and saying WHAAA ..someone cut in front of me at the gas pumps" will get you nothing. Honking at the guy will get you the finger, but going up with a tire iron (probably not the wisest thing) will get his attention real quick. I'll bet this jerk doesn't cut in front of anyone again to soon.. The guy that cut in line should have been arrested, not the Doc. To bad he couldn't have whipped a couple of knots on the guys head to go along with the charges). [/size]
Sgt. Tom Bruce said the doctor was arrested and booked for investigation of brandishing a deadly weapon in a rude, angry or threatening manner, a misdemeanor.

Witnesses told police the doctor was in line at the pumps Monday evening when another vehicle cut in front of him. When the doctor confronted the motorist with a tire iron, the other driver locked himself in his car and called police.

It all just makes me angry. Now Iam not saying smacking a 'line cutter' with a tire iron is right, but there should be a little justice in the world. Ya should be able to give him a wedgy or something for cutting in front of you. But no sissy boy called the police instead and will probably sue the doc or something...sad.

i just thank god im north of all that. even though sac gets their share to. i agree with the doc on this one though. if anyone has ever drivin in orange county you would know how long you wait in line for anything. too bad the other guy had to be a __________ ( fill in the blank) and call the police.

During the "gas shortage" Since it sat on a corner it was easy for someone to cut in line from the other street. One guy cut in line and refused to get to the back. A guy a few cars back took his own locking gas cap off and put it on the jerks car since most 60's cars had the same size filler neck. When he got to the pump I told him his cap was locked. He pulled up near the bays and pried on that thing with a tire iron, fighting the spring loaded license plate for about a half hour before giving up.
