When you "warmer weather" friends go hunting this weekend, this is what we have to deal with. This doesn't show the 18-24 inches of ice on all my favorite wading spots!

Wayne I do feel for you. Heck, I was complaining to myself that it was only going to be in the high 30s this weekend, and no snow.
Be STRONG Wayne, spring is around the corner and all that snow will make the ground wet and moist for great detecting conditions.
Agian, be strong my brother, it wont be long.

I don't know about you, but we've about had it here in Ct., this last storm paralyzed the state for hours with ice and snow. I can only dream of white sand, blue water and palm trees with gold underneath them!

I have not seen much, but I haven't really looked. This winter I have been working within sight of one of my favorite beaches along the Maine coast. There, there has been little sand movement. The irony of this pleasent spot is that it is the most sterile beach I've ever hunted. Maybe a few clad coins, maybe...15 years ago a few silver some old silver jewelry but that's been it. I think the main reason is that it is a small beach community in the summer time and there is NO parking. Maybe someone with a positive feeling for this beach would do better, I would not bet on it.
