Thinking about a new detector Help needed

Having a major dilemma here. I have and CZ70 Pro and bought it new and used it for some time now and enjoyed it. Also this detector has a lifetime warranty to me since I am the original owner which may be priceless if ever needed. Also I was wondering if it did go bad what would Fisher do since they don

I think it would be worth a phone call to FT and see if they will honor that old Fisher lifetime warranty. My guess is they will not. That bit of information my help in your decision making process.

My guess is Fisher will honor the lifetime warranty. Bad business if they don't.
I would keep the CZ if you can. You may get a hi tec unit that has the B and W's that doesn't hunt as good as the CZ.
If possible, try the units first to compare. When you call Fisher, have the serial # handy.
You don't want to pull that rope that makes the boot kick you in the arse.

Back when Fisher did their change-over to FTP I owned a cz 20 that had the life warranty. I called and asked them if they would honor it (if needed) and was told they would so long as I still had my "original receipt". If you find out they will in fact still honor the lifetime warranty of your cz 70, and your mostly hunting sand/shallow wash I would NOT sell to switch out for anything else. You will not find anything much better than what you have for the wet salt, and would not have a lifetime warranty. JMHO

I'm with Terry on this one. Keep the CZ70 Pro and keep using a great detector; particularly good on the beach. If you want to try another detector, that's good too, but I add it to the detectors you have and would not let go of that CZ!
