Hi all, Ive sold my gold detector and still have the 250 which I love more than my #%#$@%/ who wants to use it all the time,So I would like to buy a 2500,the nearest dealer is 200 miles away and would have to order one in,,I would like to try before I buy,,I cant find any body near me who has one,,and am at a bit of a delemer,,,should I get another 250 or get the 2500 and hope I will like it and find it as user friendly as the 250,,I hunt mainly old miners camps and house and pub sites in very rough terraine in Australia cheers Bazz:sadwalk:

Well, having recently switched to the GTI 2500, I can tell you that I have hit three different spots where I had pretty well given up on, as they were hit hard by myself and others. Well, using the 2500 in the true all metal mode got many of the coins at around 6 inches with ease. The little curser lets you know when you are over a probable coin, then you just switch over to discriminate mode to varify it, then dig. The true all metal mode goes deep. So, it looks like some of my old forgotten sites are now going to get another work over.
