Third Trip with the 705

Made my third trip out with the 705. I went back to the dozed lot again today. I thought maybe third time would be the charm, and I might find a piece of silver. Didn't happen, but still another good day. Two more Indians (1902, 1906), a 1935 Wheatie, 1919 buffalo and a 1907 V nickel, another brass token, this one also for the Mercantile Cash Store, good for 10 cents, and another marble. So far at this site, the first trip I used the Minelab 9" 7.5 kHz concentric coil, the second trip I used the 6" 3 kHz Digger coil, and today the 5x10 18.75 DD elliptical coil. I liked the way this 5x10 "hit" the targets recovered today. Very solid. I have a lot to learn with this detector and the variety of coils that I have, but am very pleased so far. The three trips with the 705 have produced: 7 Indians, 2 Wheats, 1 "V" and 1 Buffalo nickel, and three brass store tokens (1.00, .50, and 10 cents). The elusive silver will come sooner or later..........HH

Sure sounds to me like you're learning that 705. Can't wait to see what you get when you have a few hundred hours on it.
Keep it up!

I would say your doing pretty good with the X705. You'll find the silver, I'm sure of that.

I see you found another clay marble. I always like finding them.
