I look for Spanish Gold, and i hunt Ghost Towns as well i dont do much hunting in town its allways out in the wild i have been hunting for about 1 yr and i have found 4 chines coins from the 1700's and 2 seated liberty coins 1857 hafe,1876 dime,1879 morgan,1884 V nickle, 1898 barber hafe, and a lot of other cool stuff i found a silver match box with matches still in it over 120 Yrs old! man i love to find That Stuff!

Hey Harvey!
I've been to Red Mountain Spa 3 or 4 times. It's right next door to St. George. The spa is in Ivins (they specialize in daily hikes). The last time I was there was about 3 years ago. I did some detecting while I was there. I was still learning and I found mostly clad. You've got me thinking about making another trip out there. It's a great place detect and St.George has a ton of history. They were building homes out there like crazy. I bet it's grown a lot in 3 years.

I went one time for two weeks and detected just about everyday. I even got run off by the local Indians one time when I tried detecting by an old house on one of the back roads.
