About every two Mo. I make a pot of salsa and that's make's about 12 pints.I love to snack on this stuff,I use Tostitos (bite size) chip's.I don't much care for the store bought salsa,But eat the heck out of mine (Betty too)

This is the recipe for it.
Use an 8 QT. pot
6 cans (15oz) of diced tomatoes,with mushroom & garlic
1 (10 oz ) can of Rotel,with lime juice&cilantro
21/2 cans (2-15oz) an a (1-7oz) of tomato sauce
4 big onions, cut very small piece's
4 stick's of celery cut in small piece's
6 sticks of green onions cut the same (small)
2 bell paper's cut small
1 table spoon of La. Hot Sauce
1/4 cup of vinegar
4 table spoons of Worcestershire sauce
7 teeth spoons of sugar.
Saute the onion's by them self's till they start turning brown.
(while the onions cook open all cans)
Put all diced tomato's in a blander and chop them up smaller.All so the can of Rotel.
Put your chopped up tomato's in a big bowl till you are ready to put in pot.
After onions cook put in the celery,green onions and bell paper let cook about 15 to 20 mi.
put in the two and a half cans of tomato sauce (slowly)
then put in your diced tomato ( very slowly)
then put in your Worcestershire,celery,green onions,hot sauce,vinegar,and sugar.
bring it to a boil then put the stove on a low low fire. Mine is Ele. and I put mine on 2.
let it cook for 21/2 to 3 hrs, cook it till all most all water is out.Stir it about every 10mi.
Let it cool and the jar it.
Good stuff.
