The Ace has a very distinct bell tone. Do all the Garrett machines have this bell tone
or is their sound different?

I have the GTP 1350 and it has the belltone for coins as well.:garrett:
 
I think they all do, except for the Infinium, Sea Hunter and Scorpion. On the higher end machines(GTI 2500, etc.)you can choose through the menu option whether you want the belltone or not. Happy Hunting!:)
