Well, my buddy and I actually hunted for around 3 1/2 hours, but my 3 older coins came within a 15 minute time span and right near the end of our hot and muggy hunt.
Chris, my hunting buddy, and I spent about half of our hunting time zig zagging around looking for ground that may have harbored a concession stand back on one end of the housing demoed site that a guy had told us had been back in that area. We never did find such a spot, nor hardly any coins to speak of, either. I did, however, get the toy car from back there, a 1969 Chevy Nomad thats pretty well trashed.
We then moved up to a section of ground where some of the Military housing had been and again, coin pickings continued to be quite slim. Along one patch that looked like it may have been a strip of turf between two houses I snagged the 43d Washington from about 4". About ten feet further along I hit the 57 Rosie and that was followed by a 58 wheat cent. Chris did snag an interesting medallion with writing on it that didn't appear to be a Religious medal. Other then those pieces worthy of mention, that was it save for some cents and clad. Although the spot is giving up its remaining goodies rather begrudging, it non the less is still giving a piece up here and there. HH jim tn
