This by no means is a good find, BUT it did provide a lot of information for me.
It was at least 8 inches down in the wet sand and it rang out like a nickel would. It was soo loud I took a couple of medium scoops because I figured it cant be that deep.
To my surprise out pops this thinner than a nickel gold wire ring.
It sounded so loud I figured it had to have some iron content in it so I tried sticking it to a magnet.... it didnt stick. I used a discriminaing detector to see where I can disc it out at and it falls out at foil, where most ladies rings do as well. This ring was in tact with some fancy knot holding it together. I guess I was too rough with the soft scrub!
IF the BeachScan got this item this easily, I am anxious to see(hear) how it does on a bigger better sample.
