Over the course of the week managed to come up with a few pieces of silver, several wheat cents and a nice 14k ring with a cluster of small diamonds. (tested) Among the silver finds I managed to get my coil over a Barber coin, a 1914 dime.
Had a short window to get in a early morning hunt this morning and didn't venture to far from home. The spot, however, has given up some silver, wheat cents and the occasional silver jewelry item in the past. This morning it yielded the ring, a silver Washington quarter and silver Rosie dime along with a tad of clad and 5 wheaties. The ring gave off mixed tones and bouncing around numbers, but was close to being in the nickel range. Quite frankly, not sure why I dug the signal, but am glad I did. It was 4" deep, so not a recent drop. I worked a area that typically has emi and it did this morning as well. A frequency shift with a DST setting of 90 and a sen setting of 75 quieted the 75 right down. 90 DST appears to be off on my version 2 unit. This was the first time I had hunted this particular area with this F 75. Have a great weekend all. HH jim tn
