This Weeks Treasure Tip (Thanks For The submission Scott)

I can attest to the importance of cleaning your saltwater equipment. I always dismantle and clean my PI unit, water scoop, booties and pouch after every use.

This Saturday, after returning from the coast, I could not separate two rod sections on my machine due to the sand and salt build up from just this one trip. I eventually got them apart, but it sure took allot of washing and coaxing with a few select tools. If I had left the rods alone for much longer, I'm sure they would have been permanently joined together.

Always clean your equipment ASAP after any trip to the saltwater. Very good advise.
