This years Treasures.

Well I don't have pictures of all my treasures because my camera was stolen. BUT I did manage to bring up a few nice rings this year. My best was this beauty,

18K white gold and a 1 Karat princess cut with 16 other princess cut diamonds in it. Appraised for over 10 grand. I was on the news again in Detroit to try to find the owner, I also put it in the Detroit news but nobody claimed it. It will be a long time till i beat that ring I think!!!

My next best ring was this one:

14K 20 gram monster with 7 diamonds and a ruby in it.

Only 31 gold this year and no platinum. I think my VERY best find this year had to be this very cool starboard oil lamp from a steamship. It is solid brass, made in Detroit and the company that made it went out of business in 1915. At that time they were making automobile headlights.

Anyway after 38 boat anchors and tons of other trash I have my toys put away till i hit Florida in Janurary!! Thanks for looking!!!

That lantern is sweet and I think the fact that you had the decency to offer up a ring like the first one for a return speaks volumes about your character.

That ring is a beauty, either someone threw it away........and they do things like that..........or it could belong to someone from Europe since no one has made a report of a missing ring to the police.

I love that light........that is a true treasure from the deep.

I agree ya hit some great finds-that light needs to hanging on your porch or in your den.also with that many tries I'd say the rings are yours

I agree with woodwizard, hang the lamp in your den and consider the rings yours. You tried to find the owner and thats more than a lot of younger hunters would take the time to do. Gold Nuggets

Thanks for all the replies. Yes I love the lantern myself and it is sitting in my living room. Too scared to clean it!!!

As for the monster ring, It was in a swimming area. Probably not tossed in. Lovely ring and yes its a keeper!!! I did try!!
