Three silver day...

Jack(IN)

Hit a small Park near a town I worked today...COLD, just plain cold...but had the bug and didn't know how much longer I have before the snow/freeze comes...ended the day with 3 quarters, 8 dimes, 4 nickels, 6 mems, 6 wheats(17, 18, 34, 41, 45, 52-D), and three silver dimes(18, 42, and 51-D). Also found the junior pilot ring about six inches deep. Used the Explorer today! Explorer 2 was my backup!

Hey it sounds like a good day to me. I've been hunting pretty hard off and on all this week and the silver has been few and far between. But like you, I'm just glad to be able to get out and swing the coil and it's COLD on this mountain top :)
But when the silver screams on that Explorer it just kinda gives me that warm and fuzzy feeling he, he
Nice finds
Mike

Great silver finds, If I could find silver like that in the winter all the time, I would build an igloo and freeze the silver out.

1941? That dime looks like the date is a 1942 check for an overdate, the Mercs are in great condition, if you find the 1942/1 overdate you can pay for your explorer, since it's worth $800 in EF-40. Anyways great finds!
