Three silver quarters in one hole!

Nick A

New member
Checked out a town about an hour away. I had some research on a few sites to check out. Obviously I was not the first one here, and some of the dirt had been moved around. I was hoping I'd have a 7 silver day to beat my best day of 6. I came close with 5. Also scored an 1899 indian and a nifty 5 cent cigar store token. The kicker was the 3 quarters in one hole. I dug the plug, saw the edge of one, then stuck my digger under it to pop it out, and the two others came up behind it nearly sandwiched together. Also got half on an aluminum ruler with a 1948 calendar on the back.

Congratulations, Nick!
Three quarters in one hole doesn't come along very often!
I've found two quarters stacked together in one hole and yesterday dug a nickel, two pennies and a pull tab piled together. But, three quarters would be great.
