THURSDAY 6-17 STUFF

Got out to 3 cent land again today. I had to work earlier ,then take care of a few things before I could play:biggrin: It's more fun detecting when you have all your responsibilities finished.
Today was just about the same as yesterday. It took me about an hour to get something good (1917 merc)... then I snagged another one (1920 merc) about 1 minute later:thumbup:
The rest of the time was pretty slow, but I spied a neat "Old Quaker" bottle and found a brass padlock (W. Bohannan.. Brooklyn N.Y. pat June 25 79). It's pretty beat up, but I'll take it. Almost forgot... found a Maine state seal button, too. Don't think it's very old, though..

One quick story of my stupidity today before the pics. While I was detecting, my batteries were getting noticeably low. I walked back to my truck to get some new ones. While there, I ate some food and washed it down with coffee:thumbup: I headed back to the woods... and just before I turned the detector on, I realised I never changed the batteries:rage:
So, back to the truck I went. Never found anything good after that ,either:thumbdown:.

Here's the stuff

Wouldn't it be great if you went back and found the key to that lock?
