TID's for gold rings

Hey guys, I know target ID's should be used with some discretion but I am currious of what you guys have found that your gold finds come in as.

The various ones I have tested seem to come in between 14 - 20 and someone posted that platinum came in at 11.

Can someone please confirm?
 
I've found gold rings with ID's from 14-17, but I tested a couple of my wife's thin gold bands, one of them a diamond engagement ring, and they came in at 6 and 9.
