tif. How to change to jpeg...

When I scan a coin it loads it as a tif file on my computer but my digital camera loads as jpeg. I can't post tif. files. How do I change tif to jpeg? Thanks Terry
 
<STRONG>Open it in your image editor, and then do a "<span style="background-color:#ffff00;">save as</span>" and change the <span style="background-color:#ffff00;">type</span> to <FONT COLOR="#ff0000">.jpg</FONT>.
