Could someone please confirm that the Tiger Shark is a 5 pin Epsilon class coil.. cant seem to find anybody who has done the RSD coil swap on the Tiger so I guess someone has to do it:rolleyes:

Quite some time ago, I was told that you need an adapter to use the land coils on the Tiger and that was for the earlier ones that weren't hard wired. As I'm not sure whether this is correct or not, if I were you I'd call Tesoro and get the facts from those that really know.

I have one of the earlier Tigers and it requires using a small pigtail adapter to be able to use other Tesoro 5-pin coils:thumbup:

I have an older Tiger Shark with the pigtail and it is 5-pin. I bought a used 8x11 RSD coil but have only used it on the bench. I felt the stock 8" coil was more sensitive to small jewelry and coin tests were about the same. One of these days I'll get it out in the dirt.
