Tiger Shark ???:help:

I have two 8" coils that fit my Tiger,they are the old style.I was wondering if I sent one to Tesoro and let them cut the
connector off would they put it on a new 10 1/2". If so what would they charge.Or would they have to hard wire it in like the new ones?
I know they do not have any new connectors.

Best to just call Rusty and ask him. When I had mine I had sent it in for a tune up and come to find out the coil was bad. They just reattached my connector to the new coil but your experience may differ.

I am in the same boat. I just got a nice used Stingray ll,that has a 8" coil. So I am also now trying to find a 10" for my tiger. and keep the 8" on the ray for trashy spots. If you find out any thing let us know.

Congrats on that Stingray 2 Pulltaber! I really wanted to jump on it myself but there was this nagging thing called money holding me back from getting to it before you did. Pesky thing, that money, always trying to seperate us from acquiring new detectors! I hope you will make some posts about it after you get out to use it because I'm curious how well one of those will do compared to the Tiger Shark. That or if you think of it, just pm me with your thoughts after using them both, thanks!

Thank's Habanero, I'm curious about it to. I used to have one the first stingrays for for about seven years I loved it,but did not go as deep as the tiger. But man did that thing like gold.ever thing that I have heard about the stingray 2 it will go just has deep as the tiger.I can not wait to try it.
