My fiskars garden knife did not make the cut.

Now it's time for a real man's digger!

Is the Kellyco Gator digger really worth $30 more than the Lesche 85 from Predator tools?

The Lesche is the only way to go.Mine cuts into this baked hard Montana gumbo better than anything I've tried.We have lots of gravel mixed in.it's like concrete.

Hey Kellyco Chick!

I tried to order, but it won't let me use the $5 coupon online for some reason.. I entered the 4 digit number on the bottom of the paper and it just keeps kicking me back to the same page when I hit continue.

The $5 coupons do not work on the shopping cart as they are an offline marketing coupon but if you want you can put a note in the comment section of the shopping cart mentioning that you have a $5 coupon and put the 4 digit code in the comment box and we will deduct the $5 from your order before it is charged.

You do bring up a good point though and I will work on making the $5 coupon valid online in the next day or so.

If you will PM myself and/or KellycoChick and let us know your real name so we can note this in your account when the order comes through so the CSR deducts the coupon for you as it can be overlooked if not careful.

I have a gator digger that i got from kellyco and i love it !! It can dig in very hard ground and still make a nice plug you can put back so it looks like you never dug a hole. I tried to order a original lesche but their web site is very confusing so i ordered a gator digger from kellyco and got it within 2 days.

Get the Predator digger. I broke my Gator and replaced it with a Predator. It has been faithful and solid ever since.

I have that one too. The fiskars blade was much sharper, and cut the 3/4 flaps a bit better.

I placed my order with Kellyco for the Lesche.. I really could have used it today! I found a nice spot near a school that just in a small sampling produced some nice finds!

The Predator is really tough to beat. It may be logical but it didn't click with me. The Predator is a piece of metal that needs to be sharpened. I wasn't cutting the hard dry soil without tons of pressure. I carefully sharpened it with a hand held grinder (it didn't take much) and what a difference. You don't want to put an edge on it like a hunting knife, but putting a smooth edge on it makes a difference. Did this about a month ago and it's stayed sharp ever since.
