Time to Cash in the 2007 Clad

I rounded up all of my clad from 2007 today with the idea of cleaning the last of it in my tumbler and then cashing it in at the Bank of Bermuda coin machine. Great machines these coin counters, just dump in your clad and it credits your account with the total amount.
My containers of cleaned clad are pretty full and The Princess has been hinting that it's time I cleaned up some of my finds that are stashed around the house, so it's time to get on with it. The job wasn't looking too daunting until I came across a coffee can full of clad and other loot that The Princess must have filled with my loot during one of her cleaning bees. Now I've got a real job ahead of me but fortunately most of the $1 Bermuda coins and the Ferry Tokens ($4.50 ea.) have been used up already as well as a lot of the quarters. I always ask my Princess to spend the stuff to keep it from piling up and I don't have to tell her twice when it comes to spending money.
I'm guessing I have about $500 left but the machine will give me an exact number, it depends upon how many coins it rejects. I don't enjoy digging these targets but it will certainly be worthwhile when I find out how much I've found over the course of a whole year.
I'm really glad I found that coffee can as it also held some old military buttons, silver jewellery and an 1887 Queen Victoria Silver Jubilee Medallion. (I'd been wondering what happened to that)

How do I relocate to that warm spot and what could I do for a living? LOL!

Americain coinage is accepted at par in Bermuda as the Bermudian dollar trades at par with the American dollar. Canadian dollars, British pounds, French francs and EEC euros, etc. are not accepted but make for nice curiousities. It's nice when tickets that were mild disappointments when dug become a kitty for equipment after a little cleaning up. Let's face it, we're hunting for Gold or Relics but money has its' benefits, too.

Cheers,
