Time to get my F70 started

Well it's still way stinkin hot here in north Texas, but I can't wait any longer, so I have been getting my detector out for short 45-60 min hunts until I am covered in sweat and cant stand the heat anymore. This is what I have found so far, I mostly been out in a local park and my yard, I discovered that neither have been hunted. I found something that is silver, I believe it's a napkin holder from a silver set, and a earring, two wheats, and some modern clad. Nothing special about my settings I am running at 55 and -2 and disc set at 20. I am looking for gold so I dig everything most of the time.

Hey! Good to see you and good hunting there! those are very comfortable settings to really run and gun in a park for anything in the top 5" what tones are you using?
Mud

I use the 4h for my tones.., and usually set the machine just as hot as it will run silent when I swing it, no falsing signals. Or very few, also mud I tested your Nickel on the Florida beach, the F70 doesn't like the wet sand at all, and the numbers where the same as texas sand for the readings dead on accurate, in the dry sand.
