TIP: Fixing Jumpy TIDs

....that's a good tip that many people are frightened to do.

In the UK, we don't tend to take much notice of numbers.....if the audio is good.....it gets dug.
There are too many factors in the ground that can influence the numbers......two close targets made from different non-ferrous metal.....good targets next to iron.....etc......

Lowering your sensitivity is a good skill however....:thumbup:

I do agree with your point of lowering sensitivity which yields more stable TID's and many more surface finds but in my case, I have been hunting this very old park for months and know that there is the deeper, good stuff (have already found 8 silvers and 11 indians). My point being that you cannot get the deep stuff without raising the sensitivity.
