Sir, I have never owned a PI unit but must say I am interested. I have been discussing with Terry in Hawaii about his units and have contacted Bill several times and I have had a few talks with you via the forums....I am not a advanced person in the understanding of the machines so what I am suggesting may make you swallow real hard. I am a persistant hunter. I own two Fisher CZ 20's and a Excalibur 1000.
My water detecting is done in Florida. The East Coast beaches have been hammered in the past with hurricanes, the West coast beaches less and the Northern West beaches...quite a few also. Homes, apartments, condos, high risers, little boats, big boats destroyed by hurricanes. The iron parts are all over the place in lower Eastern Florida and there is plenty but much deeper in Northern West Florida.
Terry uses his CS7 in a manner which allows him to ID most iron signals when found. His Aquastar is more sens. to gold and he prefers it, I believe in the cleaner areas. I believe he uses the CS7 to clean sweep an area and then finishes the area off with the Aquastar, as we all know he is very successful so it would pay me or anyone to minic him anytime. I have never been to Hawaii so I don't know what iron problems he has compared to ours...
I believe Terry told me that the ability to use the CS7 in this manner is not available in the Aquastar, that would make sense to you, Bill and Terry. Maybe it is not possible to build a Aquastar with the ability of the CS7 to tell the iron from a good target.
Here is my suggestion and here is my question:
"Can you build a Aquastar with a button to push that would eliminate or null out the iron like the CS7 the way Terry uses it and still have the elements that would make it like the gold like the Aquastar? If so I am very interested.
I most likey made a big problem in design into a few sentences....
Thanks Sir,
Frank Hamill....
