Today's finds! Still looking for my next gold ring!

Because most kid's were at home preparing for Halloween party's and trick or treating adventures tonight, I had a local park almost all to myself today. No gold or rings etc; but I was happy with the Gerber knife with the 'tanto' style blade! It locks securely in the open position and I cleaned it up and put a little better edge on the blade and I think it looks pretty cool! I did get some really good gold type solid signals but nothing good materialised from them.
The weather is cooling off a little, although it was around 90F today but looking at the long term weather report, it's going to go down into the 70's and hopefully lower! Hoping for an awesome metal detecting week next week and hoping to get a beach trip in! Stand by!!:clapping: Happy hunting all.

That's some pretty cool stuff. I am working in Florida next week. I hope to get to a beach one evening.

You sure do find some interesting things GS. A couple weeks ago I found an e-cigarette device in shallow water. Looked like some kind of radio or beacon initially. Some lady on the beach said it was something for smoking drugs! She quickly added, "Not that I know about that." Also found a beat up cell phone, little Swiss Army knife, numerous charms and pendants, but never a drum key which is what that silver deal at the bottom of the photo looks to be. Keep digging and keep posting your finds. It encourages all of us.

Markinga - any luck in Florida? Been really, really slow in my neck of the woods here in FL. Would appreciate seeing any finds on your trip. Keep swinging guys 'cause ya never know when you might happen on that once in a lifetime find.

That's an interesting e-cigarette set up you have there! I occasionally come across them myself on the beach's and in parks. I don't know whether e-cig; smokers can add drugs to these things but not being a smoker or drug taker, I wouldn't know! Looking forward to digging up more interesting items this coming week and hopefully some of those items will be gold and silver!:clapping:

I had never seen one before and had no idea what it was. Came up in the 20s on the Safari which usually yields something interesting. Good luck on your next hunt GS. Look forward to more of your posts and finds!
