JB mentioned on his post below about his gold finds recovered from school grounds and playing fields, He's right that's the best area to recover gold.
Using an Old Teknetics Turbo to recover gold finds or any other type of finds is a joy, The unit weights near 2.5 pounds and can easily get both gold and deep old coins avoiding zinc pennies. From foil right up to the 18K range the Trubo nails it all while still avoiding the zinc pennies. Todays hunt netted a very beautiful older ladies gold ring.
