I took the Vaquero out today to a local school grounds that my buddy and I have been searching for the last few weekends and the finds are still coming out.
I used the 5.75" widescan coil today and was really impressed at the finds for such a small coil in a large area.
My buddy found a nice high school ring at this site last weekend and is in the process of getting it back to the owner.
We thought that maybe we could find another one today, but no such luck.
I did manage to find the $1.00 coin from Bermuda which is a long way from home and a 1941 wheat penny in addition to the clad and a couple of tokens.
The rings were found all together and are just junkers.... got me exited for a moment though!!
Thanks for looking,
Felix

I have found foreign coins on school grounds and this is my theory. The family or parents or relative go away to an other country and bring back some foreign coinage and the kids bring it to school to show off to there friends and they end up loosing it on the play ground.
