Finally got to tag along with Darrelld and Jimind. The day started off with a little rain, but the clouds stayed around until about noon so it wasnt too hot. After that.... it got H O T quick. We started out in a park that we all have pounded personally as well as with a group. I picked up one Merc 1919, and a 1917 wheat. Jim had to leave us but he got the oldest coin, a 1864 IH. Me and Darrell headed for another park. Then i finally found a merc with a little depth so Darrell could take a listen. It turned out to be a 1925. We both werent getting anything but clad and junk so we headed for another place. I found another wheat then the Half. I stuck around about an hour after Darrell had to leave ... sorry Darrell, but i pulled out that silver ring that straightened out great and that 1899 Barber. I ended up with about $3.55 in clad... not bad considering there isnt a lot of clad in these parks. It was a great day... hope to do it again Darrell. Thanks.
