I went to go get some AA's the other day for one of my detectors and found tham all GONE! I am an inveterate battery miser and hoard them like a hermit. My mistake was telling her where they were.

It turns out she gave them to the kids for their dad-blamed video games and told me I was being stingy. She is right I was - but she doesn't understand. They're for my DETECTORS, not them time-wastin' games! Them things are out of my pocket and some of the money for them was hard won.

So, Ive restarted my collecting and this time Ill keep their location, well, er, undisclosed.

Did that, too. Found 'em in the TV remote. What I really need is to break some heads, first and then keep them where no one knows where they are.

You'll pay a couple bucks more but I have found these to be the best by far - Duracell

Yeah that's all I use after being a dummy for years. :) The ones I use last four times longer than an alkaline before they need charging.
