Todays river woods hunt.:fisher:

This was my 3rd hunt on these old grounds and some silver came a calling. Only 4 coins dug today, but at least all were older varieties. Both of the Merc's were within a foot of each other, 1918 and 1923, so maybe lost at the same time. The 36 quarter came just as I was walking out of the woods going to my vehicle. The wheat cent is a 41. The fork is silver plated and may date back to around 1911. Don't ask, I don't have a clue as to what the BIG 8 piece is. The back is the same as the front. F 75 LTD in boost mode. Wow, what a glorious day here in the mid south to be a detector swinger. And tomorrow even better, 70 and sunny. But, I am sending some of the 70 temps north for you yankees. There actually have been numerous great finds come from the spot just by a handful of guys that I know of. C S spurs, many buttons and plates, old coins and I think at least one gold coin. Dig a lot and hope you are fortunate enough to get your coil over a beep. HH jim tn
