Put the fishing rods away and grabbed the LTD this morning with the 11" DD coil still intact and headed for the woods. Nasty north wind and 40 degrees when I left the warmth of my vehicle. The 1st good target was the Ingraham pocket watch and the back fell off when I picked it up. Haven't been able to get the front piece open as of yet. "The Real Thing Soft As Velvet" tin I suspect was competition for the 3 Merry Widows. The Mattel FANNER 50 cap gun was the last target I dug as I was departing the woods coming up on a road. It has been through a lot of battles, but still kind of a neat find and will grace a spot along side some others I have found on my garage wall. Was in boost mode, sen of 85, disc 4 and 4h tones. Amazing finds! 
I like to see the workmanship in the old metal objects you find and think about how the tooling was created by craftsmen that had no access to CAD. Just think how hard it would be to make a pocketwatch from scratch? Let alone the dies and deep draw process for the tins, or the casting molds for a toy gun like that. Cool!
