Tone I.D. ?

Does the XP Have some type of tone I.D.? If so how many tones? And does it have an adjustable modulated audio to make deeper targets softer in sound? Thanks.

Harold

The Deus has options to select the number of tones you can receive from targets including one, two, three or four. This is sufficient for most hunters but the factory is considering adding the multi-tone option such as found on the E-Trac.

The interesting feature that the Deus has is that you can set teh specific break points for each tone (where each tome starts and stops) as well as the specific audio frequency for each of those segments. I have set a relic hunting program where I have the range covering lead + brass give a distinctive high tone which I find easy to pick out of the surrounding tones . . . . in other words it has a great deal of flexibility and one can customize it to ones personal preferences.

Hope this answers your question

To add what Andy said, the factory setting is 3. I tried 4 but couldn't really tell a huge difference in the tones. The "roundness" of coins over trash is pretty apparent though.

Thanks for the replys I am probally one of the few guys who uses the 4 tone option on my E-trac as for me that is the perfect amount.
